Unless otherwise noted, all of the information concerning
Spiritual Gifts has been compiled by me, John Lounsberry.
It is my desire that you will benefit from this information.
My first introduction to a Biblical teaching on Spiritual
Gifts was in a leadership conference of Basic Youth
Conflicts on the campus of UCLA in 1971. Since then, I have
come across other Bible teachers who have added their insight to my
understanding of the subject.
The material presented here is a compilation of over thirty years
of study and personal experience. Any place where an author or teacher
is quoted directly will be noted with quotation marks and
an acknowledgement of their contribution.

FIVEFOLD MINISTRIES
As The Church matures and begins to move into her rightful areas of responsibilities,
we will need to re-appraise our opinions on a number of subjects.
Contrary to what some espouse, spiritual gifts did not pass away with the twelve original
apostles.
The word "doma" is the Greek word for gifts that is found in Ephesians 4:8. These gifts are
sometimes referred to as ascension gifts.They were given by Jesus as gifted individuals to
the church. These gifts, Apostle,Prophet,Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher, are listed in the
directory on the left column of this page.
It is interesting to know that scripture tells us that the ascension gifts are given by Jesus,
the motivational gifts of Romans 12 are given by The Father, and
the manifestations of I Corinthians 12 are gifts of the Holy Spirit.
