As The Church matures and begins to move into her rightful areas of responsibilities, we will need to re-appraise our opinions on a number of subjects.
Contrary to what some espouse, spiritual gifts did not pass away with the twelve original apostles.
The word "doma" is the Greek word for gifts that is found in Ephesiana 4:8. These gifts are sometimes referred to as ascension gifts. They are given by Jesus as gifted individuals to the church.
It is interesting to know that scripture tells us that the ascension gifts are given by Jesus,
the motivational gifts of Romans 12 are given by The Father, and
the manifestations of I Corinthians 12 are gifts of the Holy Spirit.
